Watercolor exhibition by St. Petersburg artist Irene Postolnaya opened In Kursk city, Russia, on July 21.
The title “Spreading through Color” is symbolic and reflects the essence of the exhibition. Fluid and vibrant watercolors seem to complete their plans themselves, spreading across the canvas.
Kursk residents was impressed the very bright memorable watercolor works: “They inspire, charge with mood, and no one is left indifferent.”
“Looking at these colorful works makes you want to create”, — one lady said during the opening exhibition event. — “Thank you for the vivid impressions of the paintings and the good mood for the whole day.”
At the vernissage, the artist spoke about her creative path, inspiration and shared some secrets of modern techniques, because recent years have changed with the advent of new tools, paints and new paper and drawing techniques.

Irene Postolnaya — Member of the Union of Russian Artists, Member Watercolorists of Russia.
She was born in Leningrad, studied and worked in St. Petersburg. She is the participant in international competitions and exhibitions, has a number of prestigious awards.
The paintings are in private collections in Russia, Europe and the USA.
The exhibition “Spreading through Color” will be until August 19.
